01 Jun BIAFD launches industry survey to strengthen representation of the fastener sector
The British & Irish Association of Fastener Distributors (BIAFD) has launched a new industry survey aimed at building a clearer picture of the scale, reach, and economic contribution of the fastener distribution sector across the UK and Ireland.
The initiative forms part of BIAFD’s ongoing work to strengthen representation of the industry with government, policymakers, manufacturers, and wider stakeholders at a time when regulatory and trading issues are having an increasing impact on the sector.
Data gathered through the survey will support BIAFD’s work on important topics including the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), steel safeguarding measures, and other areas where informed industry engagement is essential.
All survey responses will remain completely anonymous and will only ever be reported in aggregate form. Individual company responses will only be seen by the member services team and will not be shared beyond that process.
BIAFD is encouraging all member companies to participate, as broad industry engagement will help provide the strongest possible evidence base to support future representation efforts.
Members are asked to submit one response per company, covering their UK and Ireland operations. Where a company forms part of a larger group, responses should relate only to the individual member entity rather than the wider group.
BIAFD members can access a link to the survey from the members’ area of the website.
