06 Aug CBAM to stay on the agenda for BIAFD Autumn meeting 2024
As we gear up for October’s Autumn meeting, one topic which will once again take centre stage is Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism.
In line with BIAFD’s mission to keep its members better informed, the association is committed to shedding light on the nuances of CBAM, ensuring that all members are equipped to navigate this significant policy shift.
Despite its potential impact, awareness of CBAM remains limited within the industry. Many businesses are still in the dark about its full implications and how to prepare for its implementation. BIAFD will have answers for members at this year’s Autumn meeting, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 10 at the Leonardo Hinckley Island Hotel, Leicestershire.
There will also be a range of other sessions and these will be confirmed in the coming weeks. BIAFD’s AGM will be held following the conclusion of the talks.
All BIAFD members are eligible to attend these sessions, as well as joining fellow members for lunch and dinner.
BIAFD members can register to attend here.
If you’re not a BIAFD member, now is the time to join and be part of an association which keeps members better informed, better protected and better supported.
