08 Sep Line up announced for BIAFD’s Autumn meeting
Seven insightful presentations will be delivered at this year’s Autumn meeting which takes place on October 12 at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Forest of Arden Country Club.
Following requests from members, BIAFD will be taking a closer look at Russian sanctions, CBAM and anti-dumping duty, and the implications each of these importance topics have for the fastener distributor industry.
With more businesses being put under the microscope than ever before, the Health and Safety Executive will explain how health and safety breaches are investigated and what to expect if you do not comply. This will be followed by Ian Doherty, BIAFD chairman and CEO of Hexstone, who will deliver a session on how to change a health and safety culture and keep your most important assets safe.
NatWest’s Neil Parker will deliver a presentation on the current state of the economy, which will include an update on interest and exchange rates.
Finally, BIAFD’s new Secretariat will introduce the first of a series of new member benefits.
BIAFD’s AGM will be held following the conclusion of the talks.
