CBAM has understandably been a regular feature at recent conferences and in our member updates. However, as we move closer to UK CBAM, we know there are still questions to answer.
That’s why Jamie Mcleod of Crowe UK will be back to answer your final questions, before joining Martin Greenwood of TR and other panellists to discuss the reality of CBAM implementation. We thought it would be useful to move beyond the theory and hear what members are actually experiencing.
It’s a similar story with PPWR. We’ve recently provided members with comprehensive guidance as the new requirements have approached, but implementation inevitably brings new questions. Max Pyot of Crowe UK will therefore be on hand to provide a short update on what members need to know.
And we’re responding to member feedback in another area too.
Recruitment and staff retention came through as a key talking point during the roundtable discussions at our last conference. This autumn, we’re continuing that conversation with award-winning speaker and Gen Z expert Alex Atherton, who will look at overcoming generational divides and retaining top young talent.
Alex will then join Demi-Leigh Mitcheson of Accu and other industry representatives to discuss how businesses are keeping their teams engaged and motivated.
Of course, hearing from expert speakers is only part of what makes the BIAFD Autumn conference valuable. Just as important is the opportunity to meet and network with fellow members from across the fastener industry, catch up with familiar faces and make new connections.
